The slit edge surface is rounded using our unique method. Evaluated highly by a leading blast furnace manufacturer since its introduction more than 20 years ago. Rounding the edge eliminates the problem of the ribbon catching on work gloves, and improves safety in comparison to the de-burred square edge product, reduces damage to the edges of packing, and dramatically improves work efficiency.
We offer ribbon rolls and oscillating rolls with de-burred edges as standard. De-burring uses a unique company method to remove burrs, reducing injuries and binding machine problems. Although inferior to the rounded edge, de-burring improves safety and working efficiency, contributing to a reduction in total costs. Furthermore, de-burring makes it possible to suppress the progress of metal fatigue to some extent, ensuring a stable strength. De-burring also reduces damage to packing, thus improving customer service.
Leaving the edges of the product untreated after slitting to the specified width results in burrs and sharp edges, with reduced safety, and cost increases due to wear on mechanical parts. The lack of de-burring on Square Edges results in reduced safety through injuries to hands, and also leads to damage to packing.
